Great post.

Oklahoma will be a contender from day 1. I think they will struggle with the defenses some, but they have been pretty explosive on offense.

To me the change will be the overall competition. The SEC is a grind every week.

I like the Stoops family but, I'm sure you are glad you will not be adding OU and Texas to your schedule every year.

Oklahoma would most likely be a pretty guaranteed loss. I welcome us adding Texas to the schedule though. We've beaten better and done so consistently. They're basically a bunch of divas coming from Underperforming U. I put them on par with South Carolina, tbh

What exactly is Kentucky going to break either of them in? Texas is better than Uk in baseball basketball and football.

This is false and you know it. First Texas and UK football match up in conference, UK will win. I'll bet money on it if you're game. Hell, I'll even go as far as putting up the shame signature if we lose. Texas is not going to transition well to our conference. They have been mediocre in a mediocre conference for the past 10 years. They will probably hang points on Vandy, but literally any other team is going to give them a fight they aren't expecting.

I plan on it. After that absolute beating we took by LSU in the semifinal, I had bad memories so I avoided the board for a while. In all honesty, that game let us know how far we still had to go to be on a Championship level. I think we’ve made a big jump in recruiting on the defensive end and hopefully that continues. Just forgive the idiot OU fans. Every fan base has them unfortunately

I’m guessing even Ole Miss breaks Texas.

Ole Miss broke those bucks by 3 touchdowns the last time we played.

I would literally be willing to bet my life that we don't lose to Kentucky . You probably have a higher chance of dying from Covid than Kentucky beating us

Hey Texas Fagship, no we don’t. We have passionate and knowledgeable fans that eat red meat and taters. We have girlfriends and wives…not bi-gendered transtesticles running around carrying dildos and sitting in Starbucks discussing CRT and Marxism. Your good fans are a dying breed.

We are literally one of the founding members of the conference. Show some respect and maybe you'll get some in return. We have taken scraps that no major team has wanted and turn them into something more than they were expected to be on a consistent basis. I don't know where you have been, but few teams actually sleep on us outside of Alabama and Georgia. You are going to be in for a really rude awakening when the middle of the pack teams wipe the floor with your arrogance.

Not sure where this confidence comes from. I would love for UK to play Texas this season. You haven't played a team that plays defense since the last time you played a SEC team in a bowl game.

Alabama and Kentucky are the blue blood schools of this conference. Here's a truth bomb for you, Oklahoma is more of a blue blood than Tejas.

I suspect it is more like, The SEC, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." Their program has too much history and money to stay down as long as they have. This is the spark.

I hate to break it to you, but you guys are going to be in for a really rude awakening. I like you because you were open-minded, but you have shown that you can be open-minded and also a dick. I look forward to watching my cats break your spirit. I don't know if you realize this, but even when we didn't have an actual QB we still matched your record against tougher competition. Let me reiterate exactly what I'm saying here... We went 8-5 in 2019, same as you, without a true QB. We had a WR filling in with a total of 330 total passing yards. We still found success against tougher competition. You are going to get ripped up and down in a way that you cannot possibly imagine and I look forward to when my cats get a chance to dehorn your freaking cows. When you are trying to go toe-to-toe against a team that consistently recruits 3 stars and you have a bunch of 4-5 stars? You have done lost this argument. I truly wish you the best and am happy to welcome you to competition... that being said, I look forward to your team not making a bowl game for the next 6 years

Perhaps if your school is hellbent on pushing their way into the SEC you should brush up on the history of the conference. Kentucky is a charter member of the SEC. They are a valued member of the SEC family. Been here since day one. Something your school will never be. And FYI their football team is heads above Texas. They have improved immensely in the past few years and I for one can’t wait to see them take the horns to the woodshed. Texas is gonna rue the day they bought their way into the SEC. They will be lucky if they break even every year

I have ties to Louisiana so I’m a little protective when other fans dog on them. Plus damn good football team. I’ll get disowned for this but I like their coach and coaching staff. I have ties to Oklahoma, Louisiana and Georgia! I even have two cousins who went to Texas A&M. They are the REAL team in Texas. Raised in Oklahoma so I’m a huge Sooner fan. Respect for most other SEC teams.

Good point. Since SOS figures into the playoffs so much, just how much is playing Texas gonna hurt our chances?
