If you had control, how would you set up the new 4 pod SEC adding UT and OU?

Let’s just say you get full control over the 4 divisions.
How do you set it up?
Here’s mine
SEC
West:
LSU
Aggies
Texas
Arky
Mid:
Bama,
Auburn
Ol miss
Moo state
East:
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Tennessee
North:
Oklahoma
Mizzou
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
The Play.
I’m using LSU as my example team
It goes 4-3-2-1
Your pod: all 4 play
Your inner division rival Pod- 3 games (mid in my example) 2 permanent games, 3rd alternates between others.
Your cross division rival pod(East in my example)- 2 games. 1 permanent, the other rotates between remaining 3
Remaining pod-(north) alternate between 4 teams
On each schedule.
So LSU’s schedule would be
(West)LSU vs:
Texas
A&M
Arky each year
(Mid)
Bama
Auburn /each year
State and ol miss alternate
(East)
Florida each year
Alternate between GA, TN and SC
(North)
Alternate between Vandy, OU, Mizzou and KY
I kept mine sort of regional, but you can make whatever you want.
What you got?

This is going to be it. You’ll play every team every four years. Play your pod and then play 6 additional games.
Ole Miss, State, LSU, A&M
Arkansas, Mizzou, Texas, Oklahoma
Auburn, Bama, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
Florida, Georgia, Kentucky USCe

If you doing a pod, throw all the recent Big 12 teams in the same one:
Oklahoma
Texas
Texas A&M
Missouri
Oklahoma

Missouri

I don’t disagree with that at all but pods just seem more likely
Essentially putting the West and Mid pod and East and North pod into their own divisions pretty much makes it that.
Gives you 6 division games and 3 cross division games each season

Texas A&M

These Big 12 schools should be in the same pod no matter what.

Pod 1:
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Kentucky
Pod 2:
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Pod 3:
LSU
Texas A&M
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Pod 4:
Arkansas
Missouri
Texas
Oklahoma
You play 9 conference games. 3 against your pod, a permanent opponent from each of the other pods (3 games), and then the final three games rotate.
You would play each team in the conference every three years, at minimum.
LSU schedule example:
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Texas A&M
Alabama (permanent opponent)
Florida (permanent opponent)
Arkansas (permanent opponent)
rotating opponent (pod 1)
rotating opponent (pod 2)
rotating opponent (pod 4)
LSU, for example, would keep every annual game they have currently except for Auburn.
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Kentucky
Pod 2:
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Pod 3:
LSU
Texas A&M
Ole Miss
Mississippi State

With the amount of angst coming from Aggies that Texas is even joining the conference, I doubt they put them in the same division.

Not sure why this is a bad thing. Every other sec school and town is far better than traveling to Norman. There is literally nothing there. Everything in Oklahoma is shite.

There is no way the SEC should ever have a North division.

LSu would play within their division, plus one other division each year, with 3 permanent out of division opponents that we would play annually being Bama, Ol Miss and Florida.
Should keep everyone's main rivalries alive while also playing everybody in the conference frequently

You can play one other pod, then it switches each year. You play one team from each of the other two pods. So over a three year period you would play every team in the conference.

IMO Bama should get to keep either Auburn or Tenn... not both, just because.

I know tradition is flying out the window, but I'd like to keep it intact as much as possible. Florida-Georgia, Bama-Auburn, Bama-Tennessee, Georgia-South Carolina should play every year. It fits geographically except having to put Kentucky in a pod with Florida.
