In all seriousness though, it will likely be a game no one is expecting. I'll provide some candidates.

Nebraska at Illinois
Southern Utah at Arizona State (internal turmoil)
Fresno State at Oregon
Texas Tech vs. Houston
BYU vs. Arizona

If there's even a hint of that, John Bible in the replay booth will save them.

Re Mizzou: Vegas probably took a wait and see approach and I don't blame them. Remember Wyoming ?

They do - I just didn't think either winning would really be a "surprise".

Penn State/Wisconsin also play opening weekend, which should be pretty good.

It can go one of two ways for O. LSU handles their business as they should and proves that last season was a fluke OR UCLA beats LSU and the seat is officially hot just like Les after losing to Wisconsin.

FSU ML.

He knows offense. I got no clue what they have on defense

Norvell is a legit coach. Probably had the hottest name in the 2019 searches.

Wouldn’t give OM an interview and was still pissed Arkansas went with Chad over him the first time.

I think Miami will give us a better game than most think. They return a lot and add some really good transfers.

I think it’s about a 10 point game the whole night and Bama scores a TD late to win by about 17.

Nah LSU by 14, easy money, you guys won’t have a defensive melt down like we did, and aren’t you guys 2-0 vs Chip? And he is not recruiting like he did at Oregon

I think Ole Miss wins by more than 14.

I have a feeling PJ Fleck and Minnesota give Ohio State hell. Ibrahim is awesome and Morgan is good enough to produce against a pass defense that was meh last year. Finally OSU is breaking in a new QB

Chip has way slower teams than he did at Oregon, if he puts points up, it’s by design

Rice and Laffy have all the makings of "oh shite" week 1 games where an upset looks possible in the third quarter before the excitement fades in the 4th.

You sure it was a "defensive meltdown" and not insanely stupid clock management?

Had Sumlin told Mond to wait until the playclock hit 1 and kneel every play A&M would have won by 17 as UCLA didn't have enough time.

1-0 at Jerry world. There is always going to be a talent gap when it’s SEC vs Pac12. It’s a perfect statement game for LSU. O could run the score up on his old cross town rival. See some old friends and recruits. Show them how the SEC plays football in liberal land.
