We won’t but the others clamoring for it will. All this guarantees is that the big names of CFB make it in every year.

The pitch of making a playoff won’t carry the same weight. The pitch will now be you will make the playoffs every year and win possibly one or multiple championships. Then there’s also the whole allure of facilities, resources, and pumping guys into the NFL. No amount of playoff expansion or the NIL stuff will ever equate a Boise St or Cincinnati to an Alabama or Clemson. I expect the parity to stay the same or increase.
