No, it's only an asterisk year when you seriously try to make side-by-side comparisons to the other college football seasons.
Unless you'd like to point me out what other season in the past where you can win 0 games and still make a bowl game or start playing football on Halloween and still make it to a national title game.

The games counted. All teams played and practiced under the same conditions. LSU sucked, other teams didn't. You and I both know if LSU went undefeated you'd all be acting like a bunch of dumbasses just like you did in 2019. Save me and everyone else the BS LSU narrative. Like I said, it's only an asterisk year for teams that sucked.

People love to bring this up and fail to realize that Covid made the season harder for all teams involved, not easier. That makes Alabama's run this past season all the more impressive. It's not their fault other teams were run by inferior people who couldn't keep their players in a bubble.

Irrelevant. Ohio State was always going to be one of the four teams to make it into the playoffs and the playoffs have made the other bowl games irrelevant. So who cares if a team with zero wins on their record could make a meaningless postseason bowl or not?

We layed it on thicker than usual because the ridiculousness of LSU fans during 2019. Don't pretend like you didn't notice. I had never seen a fanbase melt because they won before 2019 LSU.

It's like you didn't even bother reading. Alabama was still the legitimate champ of the 2020 season because all teams were under the same circumstances. Trying to make apples-to-apples comparisons to other seasons is still retarded.

Yes, like the NCAA.
His statistics count but none of the 2019 numbers actually count toward any quarterback ranking records.
Not that its a bad thing necessarily, it may actually boost his career quarterback ranking, I don't know
