Listed as 6'3 225 so he's not undersized.

Considering his career prior to this has been spent at a JuCo and 2 mid-majors that didn't sniff the tournament I'd say this one probably qualifies as that productive mid-major upperclassman who wants to spend his final year of eligibility playing on a competitive team type player we were probably going to have to fill that last spot with. Better than leaving it unused for sure.

Doss said he has the strongest hands of any kid he has ever coached. That's a pretty big deal! Also, looking at the picture that he's in with CNO, he appears to be closer to 6'4" now (unless Oats has mysteriously shrunk several inches). Being a great rebounder (for a guard) coupled with that athleticism makes me think he may have a Retin Obasohan upside/comp. Granted, he's raw as a ball handler, not yet extremely consistent as a defender and still needs to improve his shooting (though it sounds like he has some already). But, it sounds like he could be a nice high upside developmental guy. I like him!

I'd take Walters any day and twice on Sundays in any signing class. He may wind up a 5*. Regardless, his game looks like it has a chance to translate VERY well for modern college basketball. I love his potential. You have to take a guy like him, transfer portal or not.

He's not undersized, even if he was playing linebacker. That's thick for basketball.

I'd prefer he was bigger, we want those 5 fouls to hurt

One of his roles may be to replace Rojas.

The link goes to 1975-6. We were 22/5 and #6 in the final AP poll. Lost to eventual NCAA champion Indiana in the second round. Those of us who watched the game were convinced we were playing 5 on 7

We were the second best team that year from what I’ve read

Anybody know what happened to the football recruiting thread? Did Surge kill it or was it killed for him? Don't want that happening to this one. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
