Not a big drinker but I’m drinking tonight

We had a foot of snow the other day. For those unfamiliar with Colorado, this means we get a week of afternoon slushy melting followed by overnight freezing which makes roads and sidewalks an ice skating rink in the morning again. And you repeat that cycle until it’s warm for enough days to melt and evaporate. Then another fricking storm comes

Shoooooot. That’s child’s play. You ever lived in Texas during the winter? ;) I’m drinking because I survived winter in Austin.

Haha cheers!

We only had about 6-8 down here.

And of course the Springs has the shittiest road management system I've seen when it comes to winter storms: they don't do anything.

Took me about an hour and a half to get to Canon City yesterday morning, mostly due to the Springs and El Paso County's lack of road management.

What makes it more fun is Tuesday it was 64 degrees, then a high of 32 on Wednesday and snow moved in that night.

Beautiful day today in Birmingham area. Probably going out to Oak Mountain tomorrow. Even though we are in the 70s, I know we will get another cold snap into the 20s-30s sometime soon.

Too early to start bank fishing?

Our fish are not acting right. Water temps are there, weather is there. Fish are not yet

Came in 2nd in the no-boater division of our tourney with (3) @ 7 lbs. Winner had (3) at 9 lbs. Winner went shallow and found some 54+ water and caught 2 keepers on a swim jig. Caught all mine on a home made chatterbait. Boater winner had 13 lbs and also caught all his on a chatterbait.

We have the Alabama Bass Nation there next weekend.

There was some alien Juju going on this week to keep the fish from moving shallow. Everything was there but the fish. I hear they started flooding the banks today here. About a week too late.

It was fricking aliens. It just happens sometimes. There is no measurable explanation for why they do what they do

IM fricked up. Been drinking all afternoon. It’s foggy season down here so fishing is tough these days.
