Fair is 6’1” NTs are usually short and huge. Tall guys get moved easier.

In 3-4 like Mason runs and Saban ran originally, they want three huge bodies on the line to make a wall of sorts and hold everything up, while the LB’s seek out the ball carrier and go head hunting. This scheme really benefited McClain this year with his elite speed.

What it does is frees up the LB’s and secondary to make lightening quick tackles and blitzes.

Assuming your 3 win or at least stalemate the 5 they are going against.. otherwise the OL just climbs to your LBs and you get killed. Personally, I HATE 3-4 defenses because of how much you give up at the LOS.

I think 247 came out with a new list of recruits to watch.. any new names or same old same old?
