What they have in the stable, including last years unbelievable haul, they can be very very picky, and they already have a few leaning their way that are a couple hundred slots above Harris in ranking, he aint gettin an offer.

Well, yeah.

That would put us behind LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida, etc

Jonesy,

I was going to quote your entire post, then realized you had edited it. But it was spot on.

I would greatly prefer this thread to remain informational in nature. Perhaps we can debate strategery in the alternative thread.

Thanks for your efforts. WDE

3 CBs today for Micah Pollard to Michigan. Not sure who else we are after at LB if we don't get him. He was thought to be a package deal with his cousin Caden Story, but we all know that usually doesn't happen. Maybe go all in on getting King Mwikuta and Brown from A&M? That's all I can think of right now.

Edit- Forgot about EJ Lightsey too, but he has a CB to Fla right now.

I don’t typically mind recruiting theory debate and conversation, if we can call it that. But do we really need to repeat the same 2 talking points every thread page because someone thinks someone else is wrong on the internet and needs to be corrected?

Time to acknowledge that bad takes are going to get posted here and we don’t need to ride those bad takes for 5 days

Moronic statement is moronic. Michigan gets 4* and 5* talent consistently. USC the same. What has it done for them?

It boils down to developing players. Gus wasn't great at that. Stars don't win games............scheming and development is what it takes.

You're right, stars don't guarantee championships. Lack of stars guarantee you won't win one though.

LB is going to be interesting. I think Jones said a bit Jack before the derailment Pollard to Mich was gaining ground, so looks like your news confirms it. That is one that is probably far from over, especially if we get Story.

Well, that will certainly put a dent in the NC factory that is Auburn.

We have always been at a recruiting disadvantage and we always will be. I want teams that can compete on the field. I don't give a damn if we compete on paper or not.

ETA and if this isn't recruiting talk, I don't know what is.

It’s just the same bullshite over and over again.

It’s been every page or every other page for a week now. And a few weeks before that and a month before that. And no offense, it’s never a new or original thought.

That’s all. By all means, run your course with this argument but when you’re done someone is going to jump in and take it another page. And meanwhile, the news and relevant information for the 2022 class gets lost because someone decides this is they day they’ll get through to Randy, the day he changes his mind for good on a subject

If everyone is happy with this being what the recruiting thread is then I’ll adjust. It’s just boring to me to see 20new posts that are just a back and forth between two people arguing elite recruiting versus elite development.

If anyone had any goddamn sense you’d put together that it’s ideal to have elite development of elite talent. And that they go hand in hand with eachother. But no! Gotta pick an extreme and defend its stupidity to the point where people are asking you to frick off
