It’s almost exactly what I put in my projection the other day if not exactly

Seems like less since Ausberry and Rhym already committed and we might land guys like Citizen and Woody in February

When there is no equal replacement, yes it is.

One would assume there is a replacement or we wouldn’t move on

Thank you for saving me the time lol. Yes, of he guys that we're uncommitted its still going about as expected. However, we are losing guys who have been committed to us all year.. and we we're def trending for Tolan. Not getting him at this point is a flat out miss and leaves us with 1 LB.

So a 4* defensive end is going to magically appear? I guess we'll see.

This is also a new staff and my guesses are ultra conservative to avoid backlash tomorrow

Ausberry, Rhym, and Gilbert already plus Woodyard, Brown, M’ba, Scott tomorrow and then Woody, Citizen, Farmer, + a few unknowns in February is that higher end finish I imagined.

Considering where this class has been and what we’ve done in the last month I’m pretty excited. Still chances at Perry, Clemons, and Woody but there’s no guarantee any of those guys commit

Basically unless we get Clemons and Perry it was a major whiff at WR, LB, and OL.

Okay on the DL, good RB if we get Citizen or Williams, and really good in the secondary.

But we completely failed to address our biggest needs.

For this class to even keep us in touching distance of our rivals we would have to land Perry, Woody, Clemons, and Citizen/Williams along with all of the others we are expected to get (M'Ba, Scott, Woodyard, Brown).

Even then we would still have serious work to do in the portal due the OL, QB, WR, and LB situation.

Also, outside of a podcast, I haven’t seen anything else by Story leaving this class. Just something to keep in mind

I have no clue. Why would we drop a guy if we want him though? Doesn’t make sense.

What makes the most sense is that he wants the bama offer and our staff isn't willing to wait. On one hand I like that attitude but on the other hand we are so desperate for any talent...

Still got the portal and it’s not like the old days where tomorrow is the end.

Still waiting on Woody and Farmer on the Oline in Feb. Getting a big WR tomorrow (3 star though I know how you feel on those).

And we have the portal still

This is why I posted this in the other thread:

We are not signing a top 10 class. Let’s just go ahead and establish that before y’all have a come apart. This will be a disappointing class by Auburn standards. It will not be bottom of the SEC level class either.

I agree but things aren't sounding super great even in the portal now and that's not a sustainable way to build a program. It's necessary because of the talent gaps on our roster but we have to be bringing in high level high school talent as well.

Of course this is if we want to compete for championships eventually. If you are happy with 7-5, 8-4 and maybe the occasional 9-3 when the chips fall right then we can probably be at that level doing what we're doing now.

No offense to Story, but he doesn’t have great offers. I don’t think one is magically appearing from Bama

And outside of a podcast, nobody else is talking about him leaving the class. Just some things to keep in mind.

Randy has both complained about the same 3*’s committing and getting pushed out. You often bring up good points but you also just troll and you’ve told on yourself this cycle.

You may want to skip tomorrow if you’re bummed about about moving up from the 40’s to the teens in recruiting. Just isn’t going to be your kind of day
