He's one helluva football coach.
It will be interesting to see how he handles losing when he's doing a lot of it. And I mean a lot. Jacksonville lost 15 games this year. It took Meyer his last nine seasons to lose 15 games.

Ryan Day will win more college championships than Meyer .
That's a bold prediction. Meyer has three national championships and 7 conference championships. Which of those to you think Day will surpass?

Irvin Meyers is a remarkable corch

NFL may be less physical stress I guess.

He ll have Sunchine at QB plus they at least 10 more draft picks next yr ..Urb can evaluate talent .Jags will be good in 2-3 yrs ...If his headaches dont cripple him Urb will win a Super bowl .Hes a better all - around coach than Nick Satan .Satan only good in college . Urb good in both

How many wins does he have as an NFL head coach?

I don’t think he will take any heat or pressure until after year two.
He might make it for three years.

I think Urban has issues with multitasking. He gets way too invested on one topic and cannot effectively manage his life outside of that one topic. Very OCD. It's football 24/7 no break. to me that is the root of his health issues.

I have to disagree. He and his wife looked the other way on that whole Zack what’s-his-face thing for YEARS. He let a woman continue to be beaten by her husband for YEARS!! He and Shelley knew. She went to them for help. They did NOTHING. That sounds evil as shite to me. They are walking human garbage with zero moral compass.
Forgot about that.
Stone him!

WRONG ...the crazy wife of the assistant coach has had the cops called on her over 60 times .she made death threats to OSU and would show up at a practice drunk in her car all the time and the cops would have to be called to get her off campus safely ..shes a total lunatic . know ur facts goof

I hope he gets his arse kicked in the pros

The timing of his "if he doesn't slow down he will die" maladies does seem to arise at peculiar times. On the other hand, he may just be a guy who goes so hard that any additional things (Florida's internal collapse, wide receiver coach beating his wife fallout) really do make his body start shutting down.
Don't forget about how he realizes what's important in life and REALLY wants to spend more time with his family....whenever the program he leads is collapsing.

I think not having to recruit may be helpful to him and his health, but I don’t think he will be successful.

I would be very surprised if he can sustain success in the NFL.
I admit I'm just guessing, but that's my gut. I'd be interested in hearing the arguments of those who think he'll do well, however.
Well, his player payroll will be lower than at ohio state or Florida, so he's got money to spend on medical fees.
