Davonte Parker and Gesiki also had two of the worst yards of separation when targeted. Less than 2 yards... that’s terrible. Miami got rid of the OC, and will likely draft Sewell. They also have 2 second round picks and could trade up to grab a receiver in the first to give them 3 first round picks. Will be an entirely new offense for Miami next season. The good news for Tua is that the HC seems to like him.

Yeah, I’m not worried about Tua at all. NFLheads overreact and write off young QBs all the time. I pay them no mind on that front. Tua has easily one of the worst receiver corps in the NFL. His WR1, Parker, get less separation on average than AJ Green who is basically not trying anymore. By the end of the season, Tua’s WR2 and WR3 were two guys who were playing QB in college last year. His tight end is alright but not an elite target...definitely can’t get big separation, would be fine if he could work underneath better WRs clearing out space for him. The OL has a bunch of rookies and the tackles are no good. I think some of the tailbacks they were using were waiver pick up trash from other teams. They got Bowden in a trade because the Raiders immediately soured on the guy after drafting him in the 3rd round. Miami’s offense is basically the island of misfit toys.

If Tua was playing on the Chargers, he would’ve won RotY too. Much better offense w/ 2 quality NFL starters (and a former Pro Bowler) at WR and a good TE.
