Trust me. You don't want Muschamp. He doesn't know how to stop spread offenses.

As I said elsewhere... I think Texas is the most toxic football program in the country right now. Which is pretty impressive considering some of the folks out there.
That having been said... it is one of those white whales of college football. If you can help bring Texas back from the dead as a DC you probably have your pick of HC job offers.
People after our coaches is an interesting change of pace I must admit. For years and years no one wanted our coaches... especially us.

NW Arkansas is beautiful

Man I hate that Texas and nd is looking right now

Muschamp was a coach at Texas. He knows EXACTLY what that toxicity is like, and wants absolutely no part of it. Sarkisian will have to learn the hard way - at least he will be well-off when un-ceremoniously booted from Austin in less than four years for the next "big thing"

NWA is some of the most beautiful scenery that this country has to offer.
Unfortunately, it is getting expensive af.

Yeah now that a lot of people are working remotely permanently there are a lot of people moving from California to NWA so they can keep the California salary with Arkansas cost of living. Housing market is insane.

It’s really not, tell all your friends.
Maybe all these people will leave.

To add on to this, Pittman will have a very long leash at Arkansas.
Nobody has a long leash at Texass. Why go just to get fired in a few years when you can all but guarantee several secure years to rebuild your HC brand?

I doubt his goal is to go any place for several years. It’s to get back into head coaching. Texas might be an easier place to do that.

Tigers get it.
Just grateful y'all didn't snatch him up last year. Odom looks like a man who would appreciate living in the culinary capital of the country.
Euax is a little too precarious to leave a good job for right now.

Why? If he gets shitcanned in three years, that's a step backwards not forwards

Odom is coaching with a true friend
He's close to both his 'homes'
He's a good year away from being a P5 HC.
Unlikely he leaves Arkansas
Barry’s mom has spoken. Please listen
Giving up 35 pts/game is pretty good in the Big 12 so this might work out
I’d love it actually because they’d be paying almost our entire buyout for us

Arky fans have been telling me all night that Barry is a big time hire
Posted on 1/4/21 at 6:40 pm to Hill Country
I like Odom, and he is a quality DC but let’s not act like he didn’t swallow 3 50 burgers this year
Posted on 1/4/21 at 6:45 pm to JesusQuintana
Mizzou fans cant get over Odom. Its sad. He is like the ex that was the best they have ever had. He is one of the best DCs in the country. There is a reason LSU came after him last year, trying again and now Texas is after him.
Hogs were missing 4-5 starters in LSU and Mizzou games.
I guess LSU nor Texas know Football smdh. Nobody cares about Mizzou. Not Arkansas fans, not anybody.

I dont think you understand the talent or lack there of that was on the Arkansas defense this year. I get it. You like guys. Only reason anyone would go or support A&M. Hands down the weirdest school in the country and besides Starkville the worst city in the SEC

I guess Champ is still looking for HC gigs tho he belongs at DC.
If anyone and I mean anyone hires Muschamp as a HC they have lost their fricking mind! If he turned down the Texas DC job he has lost his fricking mind!

LOL. Are you fricking stupid?
He’s a good DC. I already said that. Best in the country is a big stretch. He’s getting looks because he has name recognition more than anything. He’s been a HC. He’s been a DC at several spots. It’s an easier sell to a fan base. You can make up all the excuses in the world but you still gave up 35 points a game. THAT AINT REAL GOOD
The best thing Arkansas has going for them is that he is still essentially getting paid almost 4M per year with his buyout money. Texas can’t give him a raise. Not in the near term anyway. It’s a better springboard obviously but maybe he doesn’t want to be a HC again. Maybe he’s content running a defense. He should be
