I could see a few hitting the road but for the most part one thing Gus did was bring in some fairly high character guys. Now will they buy in, that is yet to be determined.
As far as next year goes I will say that rests on Bo, the DL, and WRs.

You need to let jesus in your heart and get rid of some of that hate.
You sound like a gump when everything revolves around hating the rival.
I don't like a lot of people that i would still swap successes with.

I'm pretty sure that's one thing that Rocky could never ever ever ever EVER be accused of.

I’m reading he wanted upgraded facilities. Several of their fans have said he was smart to leave

We still have the Feb 3rd NSD. Here's to hoping they recruit their butts off this next month. I know it will be less of a pool, but some haven't signed yet that could be prosperous

On a side note we should actually utilize TEs for real now. Maybe we can snag some guys like Pitts at UF on the reg

if his M.O about having a great eye for talent is correct, then i cant wait to see if he can break the four game curse that Gus had

You want a typical 8-4 season next year ...with a few last second losses against Georgia or Bama ......The task is to get better, not nose dive, then come up to the surface.
Take the talent already there and make them a reason for all competition to be concerned with any date against Auburn. While we're at it ...destroy all away competition.
Make the SEC start looking over their shoulders.

Shocked is when Pat Dye took over for Barfield, that was shock, I doubt it will be that extreme.
What a mess the program was. We had a running back (no names) caught smoking spliffs in the athletic dorm so they moved him to Mag Hall "to keep a better eye on him". Caught smoking spliffs there so moved him back to Sewell.
At a keg party on a Friday night and starters there, drunker than Cooter Brown, with a noon game the next day.
Dye was hired and I was talking with one of our starting OL and asked how Pat was going to work out. He said one of the first meetings, our best DL said he was not running steps for breaking curfew and Dye took his scholly right there in front of everyone. Said you could have heard a pin drop and EVERYONE knew there was a new sheriff in town.
Doubt kids today would put up with that disciplinary extreme, and I doubt the players we have now need that. But they certainly need to see the program move in a different direction.

1981 was a tough year, but the close losses to Nebraska, UT and Bama showed that we were capable of competing with the elite as a program. By the end of ‘82 we knew we had arrived.

Neither of which can do much of anything without an OL. Unless Harsin can shite a few lineman in the next 8 months, we're going to struggle some.

All the big dogs in the SEC compare/contrast themselves to Saban's machine. I'd say your wanting to avoid it completely because we're their rival is even more little-brother-esque
