Great, inspirational movie about an Arkansas offensive lineman named Brandon Burleson. He played in the late 90's for those that do not know. Started out as a walk-on and became an all American. He was drafted in the third round of the NFL and died in a car crash before signing. Powerful movie.

Burlsworth
I bought the dvd for Christmas presents for a few people when it came out. And I feel bad saying this but I’ve never watched it myself. His death was just so sad and I just haven’t been able to work up to watching the movie but maybe I’ll do that this weekend. So thank you for bringing it up.
I’m guessing I can find it on Netflix or amazon?

Thats right, Burlsworth. It is on Netflix. We had family ranging from 11 to 75 years old together, everyone thought it was a great movie.

The Bursworth story is one of the best in college football and sports overall. RIP Brandon.

Read the book through the eyes of a champion, the brandon Burlsworth story.
The movie is good but the book goes much into greater detail.

Unfortunately, every time I see this film my allergies act up and cause my eyes to water.

Hollywood producers did contact the the Burlsworth family a bout a movie. They declined the offer.
I think the reason was that they didn't want the movie to be another blindside and the message would be lost.
