MRI revealed more damage than anticipated: Bengals’ QB Joe Burrow tore his ACL, MCL, and suffered other structural issues in his knee as well, per @Ben_Babyand me.
With the way his knee bent, I worried that this might be the case. Prayers out for Joe, hopefully he makes a full recovery and can get back to playing next season.

Yep. It'll be a tough road ahead as he recovers and rehabs, but Burrow seems like a tough guy who can push through anything.

Damn. From the replay I saw it looked horrible. Hope he can recover.

Those are the kinds of injuries that shorten the lifespan on QB's. Hope he recovers

He strikes me as a guy like Brees that will look at as a competition and want to return faster than anyone has before.

Kudos to CBS for not showing it over and over, too.
Fox would've had it on rotation for the remainder of the game.

Right now we appear to be the 3rd draft pick. If we do anything other than get Joe a big ugly on the OL Mike Brown needs to be tarred and feathered and tossed into the Ohio River

Yeah, I agree. Ever since he took that hit against UCF, he has been pretty much as tough as nails and ultra-competitive. Those traits will surely help him in his recovery.

Damn, that's going to be a long rehab.

Horrible. Guy is a gamer at QB and I hope his Recovery goes well.

That sucks. He's fun to watch and hopefully he comes back just as strong.

That's bad, but this type of injury is no longer a career killer.
Heck, I tore all 3 ligaments in my knee, broke my kneecap in half, and broke my tibia when I was a senior in HS a little over 20 years ago. That was September. In April, I was playing tennis for the HS team. Got a scholarship and played 2 years of tennis in college. Surgery and rehab suck, but it's nothing that can't be overcome in today's age. I can only imagine how much better it is now than it was 20 years ago.
Here's wishing for a complete recovery for Joe.
