Yeah, can't do anything more on defense when it's 5 sec on the shot clock and they hit a long 3 with a hand in the face.
Hitting some free throws would be nice on our end.

No need to panic. They will go cold at some point. They won’t keep shooting like that. But we have to get our heads out of our asses. Start hitting free throws. Petty and Shack need to stop with the one on one bullshite. Move the ball more.

This has been the only game UCLA can win so far. They're making ridiculous shots no one should make, and we're just missing everything and turning the ball over on offense. The first 10 minutes were at our pace and we had them on the ropes. The last 10 were at their pace, and they made like 4 outside shots they had like a 3% chance of making. We're toast unless they cool off.

Herb can't resist a charging foul whenever he gets the ball now. He's not really reliable right now. Offense is gonna have to step up and we gotta hope they're shooting descends from the moon

too many TO's, too many offensive fouls, Too many missed FT's and too many missed outside shots.
Shack has not added anything and for that matter neither has Jones. JQ is the only player who has played a good half except for that last shot.
MIssing the first of the one and one's will get you beat most games. To make a successful run in a 6 game tournament we have to make FT's and 3's.

They could easily keep up that shooting for another half. Can't hope for a drop off. That will certainly come against michigan. We got to mess them up with our offense

Jones does not need to be the main ball handler when he is in the game. NOt sure why he was put in that position all year long

This team has heart we all know that, it’s just down to execution. First ten mins will be huge. Shack, more than anyone has to start hitting some 3s. At this point, anything Petty does positive is gravy. If he can just lockdown that fig who got hot at the end that’s all we need out of him.

They can't keep shooting that well, surely not. Plus we get a reset with Herb and Ellis on defense. We played some good defense in stretches.

Hopefully this is another Tennessee game where they hit everything they threw up in the first half and then fell flat in the second half.

Herb was clearly off. Shoulda stuck with that hot group.
