I think tomorrow is gonna be a sneaky tough game for us.

Stewart and Molinar are really damn good. And Tolu Smith and Ado are the 1st team that can truly test us inside with no Bruner. I ultimately don’t think they can keep up with us but I think they will give us a game the 1st 30 or so minutes

Miss St. is a hard team to get a gauge on, they beat Mizzou and Florida but lost to TAMU and Ole Miss. I am sure we will get their best shot tomorrow. Tolu Smith, Molinar, and DJ Stewart are all 3 really good players, they could give us problems if they are hot.

Our whole team has a little cockiness about them that I like. Oats and Hodgson have rubbed off on them

I hadn't noticed that, that's weird. As a team we have played as good if not a little better on the road than at home this year.

It’s our rims. They are too tight. LSU had loose Rims and we lit it up.

This is kind of a weird question to be asking at this point, but....

Chad, do you have an understanding of how tourney ticket sales and seating will operate? I might could actually go this year.

I was curious about this too, but it doesn’t look like the NCAA has made any decisions about attendance yet.

quote:

The NCAA is closely monitoring the ongoing pandemic and will continue to work with local officials to determine the feasibility of having fans attend games at any of the venues, though a limited number of family members of each participating team’s student-athletes and coaches will be permitted to attend their team’s games. Details pertaining to the possible allocation of other tickets will be finalized later, as will any decision about fan events.

Tickets won’t go on sale until they make a decision and it doesn’t feel like they’re in a hurry. From the sound of it, tickets are going to pretty limited regardless. It kind of sucks, but it’s not totally surprising.

Lucky for us UNC has a few options before looking at Oats (Wes Miller and the Stanford coach).

I'd be surprised if UNC didn't hire an alum.

I wonder if Baylor fans worry every year about someone hiring Scott Drew away.

Same with Chris Beard at Texas Tech and Bennett at Virginia, they aren't exactly historical basketball powerhouses.

I am surprised no one has ever hired Jay Wright away from Villanova.

Basketball is different than football, in football you need to be at one of about 10 programs to have a good shot at winning a NC, in Basketball you can compete for a NC at just about any school.

This is a very interesting argument. I’m not intelligent enough for either side of the argument, it’s just an in good argument. (CrimsonfeverandIrarely agree)

If we win today by 15+ again I’m going to go all in on this season. I’m still barely holding myself back

Good question, and I'm sure there are feelers nearly every year put out to their agents(especially Bennett & Wright). The BIG question is how their respective schools are able to hang on to them every year. Now THAT question's answers would be interesting and probably important to us.
On this subject, one of my best friends, a retired basketball coach, told me that a very important aspect of the decision making process coaches have about changing schools, that's not often thought about, is how happy his family is with the area they live in (# of friends, quality of the community, school systems, etc.) Wives have determined this decision more times than we'd imagine.
