In context of my post, I would say just the opposite of USCs last two titles in which they paid players.
That said, is there a reason to doubt that Nebraska's titles were not legit? There were no clouds hanging over the program at that time. No investigations, or allegations. And they were named by the AP and/or Coaches poll.
I hope you aren't one of those UGA fans who think that we're clean while everyone else pays players.

If your P5, won at least 3 national titles, & 17 conference titles then your a blue blood. Anyone disagree?
A blue blood is not just a good (or elite) program. It's an "always has been there" program.
Nebraska's status is in jeopardy, not even so much because of a few losing seasons after Pelini left, but because they made a strategic error when they moved. They entered the Big 10 as a non-factor, and have never established that they could win that conference.
Penn State entered the Big 10 on an upswing, and won it early on. But their blue blood status is due to their dominance in the East, which was never a conference at that time. They beat Syracuse, Pitt, Boston College, West Virginia etc, in conference-LIKE games.
Fla State and Miami were what were called New Blood or whatever, not blue blood teams.
LSU and Clemson, which fit your standards I believe, are not blue blood programs. They are recognized, but they're not blue bloods.

No, I'm not. But we haven't been caught. They did, so they forfeit. Isn't that the way it works? It did with Ole Miss. It is with LSU. It has with Ohio State and it is with USC.
Any time you cheat you take a chance you will be caught. If you get caught you suffer. If you don't get caught, you don't suffer. But if you get caught, you don't just wave a magic wand and everything goes away. And saying, "Well everybody else does it!" isn't a defense.
Next time you get a speeding ticket tell the cop "Everybody else does it!" and see if you still have to pay the ticket.

Did the NCAA do anything about it? isn't that what determines if there are consequences or not?
For instance. If you are going 90 MPH in a school zone and there is a car right behind you going 90 MPH in a school zone and the cops pull you over....who gets the ticket? the one who got pulled over or the you, who got stopped?
You got caught, you pay the consequences. Guys, that is life. You don't have to like it, but that is life.

USC didn’t forfeit anything and Bush didn’t get paid until Dec 04.

Yeah, people don't seem to understand the difference between a vacated win and a forfeited game.

And USC kept their AP titles anyhow.

Idk why people keep including Penn State. They have been great in one decade in the 80’s. I don’t think that makes them a blue blood.

Dude. They had a title vacated!
Some individual games vacated
BCS vacates USC's 2004 national title
I am guessing you are a USC fan? how could you NOT know their title was vacated? That is the reason some Auburn fans want to try to claim it as their title, even though they did not play in the championship game.
Further, I don't care when he got paid. They paid him to play. They didn't give them all that stuff because he was a good kid.

Not entirely true.
They also won titles in 1911,1912,1969 and have a legit claim to 1994 along with Nebraska. (They were undefeated in 1994)
Those go along with their titles in the 80s like you mentioned. (1982 and 1986)
I mean, if you don't think they belong, that's fine. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I would agree with those who would include them, though.
(I will admit that the 70s and 80s were when I was paying fairly close attention to college football and have a bit of a bias for those teams)

You claimed they forfeited stuff. Do you not know the difference? And they still have their AP titles.

When I said forfeit I was referring to them having to forfeit their title. USC had their title vacated. That means they can not claim they won the title that year.
Yes. I do understand the differene in a forfeited game and a vacated win. A vacated win means the "winning" team does not get credit for the win, but the loss still is on the record fo the losing team.
But USC's title was vacated, therefore their title was forfeited.
Here is the defeniton of forfeited. (Sigh. It's a shame I have to explain definitions)
for·feit (fôr'fit)
tr.v. for·feit·ed, for·feit·ing, for·feits
1. To lose or give up (something) on account of an offense, error, or failure to fulfill an agreement: The other team did
Tell me how USC did not forfeit their 2004 title.

If Miami isn't on the list (which they aren't), then LSU surely isn't.
LSU: 5 titles over 111 year period, and 812 wins (16th) at a .656 clip
Miami: 5 titles over eighteen year period, and 636 wins (72nd) at a .632 clip
Miami is like 80 wins short of Miami(OH)...they had two good decades. That’s it.

You keep bringing up the NCAA. Well, they say USC are still the champs. They can claim it (as they should since it’s AP).

Where are you getting 5 titles from for LSU?

ETA
USC defeated Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl by a score of 55–19, which earned the Trojans their second consecutive AP title and first-ever BCS title. The Orange Bowl win and accompanying BCS title were later vacated as part of the sanctions levied against USC following an NCAA investigation. USC appealed the decision but was denied by the NCAA, and the 2004 BCS title was officially vacated on June 6, 2011.

Dude. Slow down and think. You do not recognize a title that is vacated. Honest to goodness. You have got to be trolling. The NCAA is the organization that recognizes titles. They are also the organization that vacated USCs title for 2004.
