Defensive mvp so far?

I'm going to remove Jordan Davis from the discussion since we dont have a replacement for him on the team, imo.
Who is your defensive mvp so far?
I honestly cant decide. We have so many playmakers who are so consistent week in and week out. I can make an argument for 8 other players (aside from Davis).

I’d say Azeez or Monty. But we got a lot of legit playmakers

My "Damn forgot he's out there" MVP is Eric Stokes. He plays damn near every down and you never hear his name. He takes away 1/3 of the field cause he's never challenged ...

Imagine having a Tindall on the bench.

I was thinking yesterday, while watching Foo's defensive breakdown, that we don't have a Roquan Smith this year, we have like 7 or 8 of them.

I mean, it might be Adam Anderson right now.

Monty. He’s been rock solid in the middle

It amazes me how often Dean seems to be the coach on the field for the defense. He is always directing the back end and running up and adjusting lineman. Impressive for a sophomore IMHO.

I would’ve said Azeez until you brought up Monty. But then someone mentioned that you never hear Stokes name called. That says something right there.
Honestly, I think there are about 18 defensive mvp’s right now. They all work interchangeably and as a team with little to no drop off at any time. In this case, they ALL get trophies.

That's a tough pick. I can't even think of someone who's really been the Least Valuable Player either this year.

Julian Rochester, Jalen Carter and Devonte Wyatt all have been in the backfield..................a lot.

It's Rice or Davis IMO.
Davis beats his guy practically every play. That's not an overstatement, and Rice is in on everything putting guys where they need to be.
There are a lot of MVP worthy guys though.

Our 5* is better than their 5*

Cade didn’t even have a chance to record one of his signature holds on that play lol

My vote is our D Line... all of them. They disrupt so many plays

What I really like is there’s no one guy that has to make the play. They’re all studs and obviously Davis seems to be the lynchpin but the pressure and playmaking is coming from every angle. I enjoy watching our defense more than the offense.

There’s definitely at least 10 guys I could write a whole post about. It’s all kinds of fun.

Also awesome that it’s usually not just the guy making ‘the play.’ There’s so many other guys doing their job not getting the credit that’s making it happen. Watching our defense is a treat.
