Ark briefly had the lead early in the 4th, then Auburn scored, then y'all gave up a fumble that was returned for a TD, then Wilson threw a couple picks to seal it. Forcing things

Agree Arkansas really missed having that elite running threat against Bama and LSU in 2011. Y'all might still have beaten us if you hadn't punted to Mathieu though

I doubt we would have won without Davis. Dennis Johnson was a good player but he wasn't on the same level as Davis. Without a running threat to keep the LSU defense honest, it made the offense one dimensional and the LSU defense shut them down.

Davis was a big enough loss that Petrino had to compensate by passing more in 2011. That offense doesn't click without a good running back. Because the power spread passes the ball in the first half and when they have a lead, run the ball in the second half and burn more clock. We struggled running the ball a lot in 2011.
