Season made up of the B10, P12 et all and hosted by the NCAA, then the SEC could also play in the spring which if better COVID wise, would also likely be able to have fans. In an era of university budget suffering playing a Fall and Spring seasons would net the university desperate millions they could use to revive their campus and ease the avalanche of budget cuts.
The SEC doing their own Fall season and then playing in and winning the NCAA spring season would be the most baller move of all time.

There won't be a spring season.

As Urban Meyer and Scott Frost said yesterday, the chance for Spring football is "zero"

I don't see in anyway Football can be played in the Spring. It's just to satisfy fans and coaches in the meantime

the good players who are draft eligible will be working out with their personal trainers and will have signed with an agent. They are not hanging around. Now if it was an abbreviated schedule for 2 months starting first Sat. of Jan then perhaps. But no major school will play fall and spring. Your athletes need down time.

So we’re gonna have “amateurs” play football seasons in 1.5 years? Seems legit.

It’s just another way to move the goalpost..
Kind of like, “stay at home flatten the curve” or “wear your mask so we can have football”. You’ve been played...

There’s no chance of a spring season. This is the latest technique they use to give people hope and pretend it’s not totally cancelled. It’s even more unsafe to have a spring season, but they don’t want to come out and say that.
