Of the current FBS National Champ Coaches...
Number of years coaching P5 FBS Football and (age)
Mack Brown - 17 - UT- 2005 - (54)
Nick Saban - 9 - LSU- 2003 - (52)
Dabo Swinney - 9 - Clemson - 2016 - (47)
Les Miles - 7 - LSU - 2007 - (54)
Ed Orgeron - 7 - LSU - 2019 - (58)
Jimbo Fisher - 4 - FSU - 2014 - (48)
Considering CKS at (44) has only coached 4 years, and already made it to the national champ game in his 2nd year. I’d say he’s ahead of the curve.
Only Johnson and Erickson at Miami, Stoops at OU, Meyer at UF, and Ford (33) at Clemson ( but they went on probation the next 4 years, after ) won theirs at an age younger than Kirby.

Georgia is like Nebraska and Tennessee.. you just can’t win there anymore
