Young isn't Tua. Tua's don't just fall out of the sky that often and still he didn't start over Jalen.
Bryce Young is the highest rated QB recruit All-Time in the history of Alabama and is tied with Julio as the #4 All-Time...some 53 spots above Tua.
His skill, as evaluated by the same people, is levels better than Tua.

SidewalkTiger is a fricking moron. He doesn’t know shite about football.
Bryce Young will start for Alabama in 2020, and skin your Tigers alive. Myles Brennan will crumble like a little bitch

Drew Brees
Brees is great because of his ability to manipulate and move the pocket to find throwing lanes. I’ll bet whatever you want that this 18yr old kid doesn’t have that skill. Most NFL QBs regardless of size don’t have that skill.

Kyler worked over the Bama defense a couple of years ago in the Orange Bowl and made a believer out of me. On one particular play, he was hammered by Q. Williams with Williams falling on top of him. The guy hopped right up like it was nothing. Are we sure he’s 5’10”? He looks about 5’8” or so.

What you mean is you hope he’s not like DB because you only have an opinion just like anyone else.

I’m pretty comfortable saying Bryce Young doesn’t have a unique ability that maybe 10-12 QBs in the history of the sport have ever had.

You know how recruiting works right?
He was the QB during the height of Alabama's sanctions. He was working with nothing as Alabama lost 21 scholarships. Alabama was lucky to even get him as FSU wanted him and they were the best CFB program.

The last 2 QBs at Alabama started as true freshmen.
Trevor Lawrence, Jalen Hurts, and Jake Fromm all made it to the NCG as true freshmen.
NONE of them were rated as highly as Bryce Young.
Yet, people are acting like it’s some longshot for Young to beat out a former 3-star recruit who cost us the iron bowl last year, and barely beat Michigan.
I think Bryce Young should be the odds on favorite to win the job.

Good pickup by Bama but that article doesn't say shite about him or anything else.

What game did Tua start as a true freshman?

None of those guys put up better numbers than Mac was on pace to put up in 2019 outside of Hurts' great rushing numbers.

Yes you’ve made it very clear that you’re hoping Mac Jones is the starter. Sorry, not gonna happen. Just make sure you tune into the spring game for a sneak preview

Is that why he was so good in the NFL too?
