For the gumbo eating populace of the purple tigers of LSU. Listen, it was never a thought that Bama would surely beat LSU or AU for that matter, this past season in the football games played at home and away at AU. For as long as Tua stayed healthy and reasonably safe from injury, we had a chance to win and go undefeated. However, before the season gets underway we lose 3 starters on defense
and 1 potential phenom who was destined to see a bunch of playing time. Fast forward: tua gets hurt against tenn and misses the ARK game 2wks later he starts and plays against LSU. He, played as hard as he could in the game but was clearly suffering and unable to move around in the pocket. This was evident in what happened against Ms.St..he couldn't move and he couldn't
Go down tp protect himself from further
or seriously injuring himself. He did!
Hence, he should haven't played against LSU or State. Bad call by the drs and trainers. But, ultimately, it falls on Saban. Thus Mac Jones takes the reigns and blisters AU'S supposedly vaunted defense. Without the pick 6's which were unforced, Bama blows them out!
Bama's defense got progressively better when bowl practice came around and by the end of the bowl game against Mich, it was obvious the tide defenders had grown up and were ready to exert themselves in 2020! With McMillon an Dylan coming back to anchor the defense
along with Sanders coming back from his season ending injury last August. Mac will only get better from where he left off. Which was extremely good! Receivers were stacked behind the 4 we had a year ago. You're going to be amazed by the abilities of the nextups.
Count your blessings TIGERS! Unless there is another perfect storm. It won't happen again for the near or immediate future. Gday`

Are you serious?
This board was most certainly very sure that Bama would beat LSU.

3 starters on defense
Including one who was a redshirt senior with 30 career tackles. Huge loss I tell you.

Fast forward: tua gets hurt against tenn
And walks to the locker room with no visible limp

but was clearly suffering and unable to move around in the pocket.
Yet dude manages to scramble on the first drive until he drops the ball for no apparent reason.
Saban:
quote:
"I think he was 100 percent," Saban said Saturday. "I think obviously missing some time, missing some practice—I think that he played well, he made good plays in the game. I thought his mobility was probably not 100 percent, but I thought he had short-area quickness in the pocket. Maybe he couldn't run 100 percent, maybe he was 90 percent. I don't really know."

It’s amazing that your fanbase has so many rambling, idiot rednecks who think that we care about your longwinded- and certainly inaccurate- take on our program. Alabama isn’t anything special anymore, we may win this season or we may not, but no one is scared of y’all anymore

Day 110 of The Great Gump Melt Of 2019/2020 continued as even more Alabama fans attempted to make the pain stop.
We hated to see it.
