Signing Ozuna means the 40-man roster is full.
Braves just released their list of Non-roster invitees to Spring Training:
Pitchers and Catchers report 3 weeks from today (Feb. 12th) and position players report on Feb. 17th.

I swear to God if the Nats winning series screws with my $5 tickets every time the Braves are in town I'm going to be pissed.
They're fair weather enough so I think I'll be okay.
Taking my grandmother to the Mets game in Atlanta on the Saturday during Memorial Day weekend. She's a huge Braves fan and has only been able to go to 1 Braves game in her life. This will be first time in the new park for the both of us.

Jeff Schultz did an interview with AA on the Athletic today. Obviously behind a paywall, but here's the LINK.
Some highlights:
Braves could have afforded Donaldson but AA wasn't comfortable with the combination of years/dollars. Braves wanted JD and JD wanted to come back.
If we had signed JD, we wouldn't have gotten Ozuna.
AA was very, very uncomfortable with the years on the starting pitchers like MadBum, Wheeler, and Ryu.

I see a lot of people melting on other sites, but I actually feel pretty good about this year.
Relievers are always volatile, but I fully expect that we will have one of the best pins in the game. That would have made a big difference in the record last season, and the added depth will be important in October.
There are a lot of question marks in the rotation, but Soroka is an ace and I expect fried to improve a lot. Hamels should be decent and a good teacher, and we have enough options with young guys at the back end that we should at least end up with replacement level. If we get good Folty then its a great rotation. Bad folty means that we are probably on the wrong side of league average by a slot or two.
I think a lot of our hitters actually underperformed last year on the season, and while Ozuna is a step down from Donaldson, other guys will step up.
Obviously the annual playoff meltdown was horrible, but lets not forget that almost all of our starters and depth pieces were either unavailable or playing hobbled.

What does the pitching rotation look like? It can't be very impressive and that has me worried a good bit.

1) Soroka
2) Hamels
3) Folty
4) Fried
5) Newk/King Felix
is what I would imagine.

Wright and Wilson will get shots as well. I think its time to see what we have in Wright.

He's uncomfortable with anything that involves investing money long term that isn't a deal that is strongly in the owners favor. Let's be real

All of his moves so far look like they're intended to not have any "dead money" on the books. Dead money in this case means overpaying players who can't play anymore on the back end of their contracts.

Watching the Chiefs win the Super Bowl and hearing their fans do the chop made me think maybe some curse is lifted for the Braves.

Possibly a dumb idea - why not trade ender? Prove me wrong.

What value does he have?
Puig, Kevin Pillar, Cameron Maybin, Ben Zobrist.
Those are free agent outfielders that are still available that dont cost anything but money to sign.
Kole Calhoun(2/16), Avisail Garcia(2/10), Corey Dickerson(2/17.5).
Who is going to take Ender, who is at his lowest value since his rookie year, and pay him 2/16.5 when there are better players getting equal deals or still available.
This isnt MLB The Show.
