Top 10 best teams in college football CURRENTLY

First let me explain the rankings.
Someone on the rant convinced me that a team who won a natty 20 years ago would beat and is more elite than a team who won a natty 40 years ago purely because they had won their natty more recently.
So if team A has been more dominant for the past few years, finished higher ranked and even beat team B at one point they wouldn’t be able to do it again because their natty is 20 years older than team B’s natty.
It made so much sense to me for them to compare a 20 year old natty to a 40 year old natty in determining current elite status that I decided TOTAL natty’s would be even better at determining CURRENT elite status!
I was so inspired by this logic from another poster that I decided to use some of it in my rankings.
This is purely based on nattys:(none of these teams would CURRENTLY lose to anyone ranked below them and would be considered more elite in RECENT years only because of nattys)
1. Alabama
2. Michigan
3. Notre Dame
4. USC
5. Pittsburgh
6. Ohio State
7. Oklahoma
8. Minnesota
9. Tennessee
10. Michigan State
So if you thought LSU, Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma were the big six THINK AGAIN. How those teams have been playing in recent years doesn’t matter because they can’t beat teams like ND, Michigan, USC, and Pitt.
Edit (if you can’t see that I’m mocking another poster then you need help)

So shouldn't LSU be #1?

LORDY LORDY your last 'ship is 40!!!

That makes zero sense. Any list is wrong if Notre Dame and Michigan is in the top 3

Sounds like you completely moved the goal post. Someone was saying that recent national championships were a very important metric and your response was to list teams that haven’t won it in ages.

Well it depends.
I mean the 20 year old natty means team B would currently beat team A who won it 40 years ago right?
So if they’re saying teams that are decades old impact games played in modern times then why shouldn’t we just rank teams with the MOST nattys?

You have the worst flexes of all time.
You should request a name change

So by your stupid logic, It should be like this:
LSU
Clemson
Bama
Ohio State
Florida State
Auburn
Florida
Texas
USC
Miami
Oklahoma
Tennessee
Michigan/Nebraska
Washignton
Colorado/ GA Tech
Notre Dame
Penn St
BYU
Georgia
If you lost count that puts UGA at #20, so maybe that is right.
Also if you are going total titles where is Harvard, Yale, and Princeton? Since you said more titles count more Yale has 18, even if the last one was 1927 the most all time has to count for something.

Nope.
They said Team B who won a natty 20 years ago is CURRENTLY more elite then Team A who won it 40 years ago. When referring to recruiting unfairness and the “big 6” they argued that the 20 year old natty means the team with a 40 year old natty shouldn’t be a big 6 team. Like that has anything to do with the current college football landscape.
So if they want to use history then I’ll use history.

I believe you're referring to me and that wasn't the argument at all.
But okay, melt like a bitch if it makes you feel better.

You said Oklahoma should be in the big 6 and Georgia shouldn’t because Oklahoma won a natty 20 years ago while Georgia’s was 40 years ago.
I mean since your current big 6 is based on decades old history then why not use ALL of history to rank the current top 10?
It’s so dumb that I realized it’s genius.

On behalf of the Alabama delegation we do not accept. This feels like some sort of Nigerian Prince scam email and we want no part of it.
