Tua, Smith, Ruggs, Leatherwood and McKinney coming back too.
I thought the whole thing with Tua was that he was going to be recovering for a year regardless of whether or not he was hanging out at Bama or getting paid in the NFL. Why do people keep chirping about him coming back as though it actually helps?
Smith and Ruggs coming back is scary, to be fair. Those guys are going to dominate even more.
McKinney got embarrassed against LSU and Auburn, I would only be excited about him coming back from the standpoint of him developing more and stepping up.

You posting that diatribe after lambasting LSU and other teams year after year for “excuses” is borderline erotic.
Thank you so, so much

Tony, go back and look at those rush defensive stats for Alabama this year. shite was awful. One defensive player isn’t fixing that.

Yea, aubie had a great win, congrats but don't act like u beat us at full strength.
Sigh.
Accept that you lost this year.
Twice.
Alabama had some awful injuries, but that is part of the game.
Last I checked, there is no asterisk for hurt players in the win/loss column.
It is really good news for Alabama Moses is coming back. But this woe is me shite is really whiny.

Was hurt early. Then we had a freshman calling signals.
Won’t be a freshman next season.

That’s why I phrased it the way I did. Moses doesn’t need my advice, or the advice of anyone who posts here. I just see more risk than reward from coming back. They must know that the potential reward from going pro right now isn’t that great.

Tua hasn’t made it through a season without a surgery; he’s had 3 surgeries, one major, and still has a top 15 grade. Whoever is advising this kid to stay in college is a selfish pos and I have a good idea who it is.

Nobody has ever said that. It's possible if he has recovery setbacks, but it's not the expectation.
However, I wouldn't be shocked if he had some setbacks if they shut it down for the 2021 draft (if he stayed).

You’d think a whole season of making calls would allow your freshmen to improve at that phase of the game.

He was the worst LB on the field for Bama in every game in 2018
Of course he is coming back.
He kinda has to

The fact that your idea of a complement is he’s “probably” above average just shows how most LSU fans can’t actually look at it objectively. They will never not be salty about the dude

Dude go read an article. Everyone is saying that it's a total toss-up whether or not he can actually play next year, even if everything goes right. That's the whole point of the argument for him just sitting for a year and going pro in 2021. This whole notion that he's good-to-go may be true in the end but the certainty in it is a Rant manufacture.

He would be drafted, signed to a minimal 2 year contract, and allowed to get healthy and learn the game. In 3 years he’d sign a huge deal at 25-26 years old.
That’s how I see it, exactly.

Yes, because I get all my Alabama football news and notes from the SEC Rant.
The only toss-up on him being ready for 2020 is if he has rehab setbacks. The only time 2020 was up in the air was immediately after the injury when they weren't sure what everything was

Oh jeez, the Citrus Bowl is a decent bowl game... It's not like going to the Independence Bowl in that stinking crap infested Shreveport, LA... That city stinks more than College Station on a steamy summer night after an Aggie lovefest..

Anyway, better question. What is the depth like around Dylan's position? I was genuinely wondering whether or not him coming back is a necessity or not.
