They are missing out on the bowl money, have one of the poorest athletic departments in the SEC, and will have to pay for a buyout. I’d say most didn’t expect it.

Yes. He was told on Tuesday.

His buyout is a cheese sandwich and a Breaktime gift card.

Are you kidding? This is year 4 for him and we had enough talent on this team to compete for the East this year, especially with our baby soft schedule. We lost to a 2-10 Vandy team and Wyoming this year

Hard to say. Odom’s record was atrocious. We have the 13th ranked recruiting class (conference, not national) to protect. But Mizzou’s priority is not upsetting the delicate sensibilities of the student body even though they don’t come to the games.

“Compete for the East”. I would like to point this out to our friends from Georgia and Florida.

Why did Missouri come to the SEC?? Seriously why? Why didn't the sec get Oklahoma? Oklahoma has good tradition, they win year in and year out and would provide good competition on sec east side. Last but definitely not least if that did actually happen, I'd put bama vs Oklahoma in the yearly sec matchup instead of Tennessee. Bama has had zero competition over the years vs Tennessee. It been like 55 to 7 or close to that every year the past 15 years. Have all these undefeated teams all these 1 loss teams at end of the year. Need some actual competition instead of a cake walk like bama has year in and year out.

There’s two TVs in Oklahoma.
It’s like some of you still don’t get math.

I should not respond to this, because it's obvious you don't have a clue when it comes to conference realignment or schools moving from one conference or another. Oklahoma is a packaged deal with Oklahoma State. You're not getting one without the other. So when OU was actually considering moving to the PAC12, it was going to be a difficult jump due to the fact that Oklahoma State wasn't on board with being left behind.

Bigger question, why where these chumps invited to join SEC?
