SOS rankings according to Jeff Sagarin:

#26 Georgia
#27 Oklahoma
#31 Baylor
#40 LSU
#46 Ohio State
#51 Utah
#62 Clemson
#63 Alabama

Hmmm...

Can anyone explain Oklahoma and Baylor to me?
I'm bumping this, because I've yet to get an answer.

I've checked schedules, and Baylor's OOC is Stephen F Austin, Rice and UTSA.
Oklahoma's is Houston, South Dakota and UCLA (that sounds more impressive, but both Houston and UCLA are 4-7). Outside of that, they just have conference games... and outside of each other, none of those Big 12 games seem major.

In contrast, LSU's OOC is Northwestern State, Texas (6-5, and shared by the 2 Big 12 teams), Ga Southern (6-5 in Sun Belt), and Utah State (6-5 in Mountain West). And then conference- including Alabama (which has to trump either Baylor/Oklahoma, or at the very least equal that), Florida and Auburn (which both should exceed anyone else on their schedules besides each other).
So while LSU might have creampuffs too, I'd argue that the top end of the schedule is significantly tougher than anyone Baylor or Oklahoma have faced.
