i'm a lifelong LSU fan but please stop with these stupid comparisons. So a cat 4 storm off the coast is comparable to a TS. I hate the gators probably more then most because i live in jax but its time to move on. Had a cat 4 storm been sitting 200 miles of the coast of louisiana i can assure you the game would have been postponed or moved. Both states get alot of hurricanes but these days aint nobody taking chances on stranding people in a big hurricane. Every time i see these threads its always started by an LSU fan and it makes us all look dumb and its not even funny anymore. Lets please stop starting these threads

And you are missing the critical deal that pissed LSU fans off: A week prior, all kinds of possibilities were discussed. LSU AD even offered to pay for UF team transit to a neutral field of need be.
The entire time the line from Florida was that it was going to be played, at Gainesville, at this time. No discussion.
Then, even though nothing significant changed in the track, on Wednesday suddenly it was “oh look, a hurricane. Oh well, wish we had more time to set up a neutral site. Hey LSU, be a pal and give up your Bye week before Alabama for us because that’s convenient for us.
The whole situation made the LSU side livid. Added to the fact that UF obviously could use an orchestrated bye week.

whatever the circumstances were at the time so be it but these threads and the anger from the LSU side just seems over the top. Hell im the biggest LSU homer ever but let it go! Do you really think it makes UF fans mad by starting these stupid threads? Do LSU people really think they are funny? i'm tired of seeing them every week.

Much like every fanbase on here, the vast majority are not true representatives of the average fan.
Hell, LSU fans are the easiest to troll by far on tRant.

If you were playing your biggest home game of the season, would you want to give it up? LSU was worried about the city of Baton Rouge’s lost money from the game, what about Gainesville? There’s zero reason that game shouldn’t have been played in Gainesville as it was supposed to. It’s absolute bullshite that the SEC didn’t come in and force LSU to play us in Gainesville at whatever date like it was scheduled in the first place.
