will be ruined by Mullen’s arrival at Florida.
How you figure bubba? Any evidence?
Oh right, the 36-17 blow out last year was a sign of progress over the 42-7 demolition the year before. And the 31-3 package he put in Dan's mouth in 2017.

This is a fun thread too
Don't worry. Only 11 more days till Georgia fans make up their mind on if they will stay on the rant or disappear till recruiting season is in full force. Not you WG, you are actually a good poster so not mocking you here.

This offseason it was clear that UF was a dumpster fire and didn’t belong on the same field as UGA.

The issue is. Isn't this the year for Georgia? Elite defense, veteran QB, elite Oline, best back in the SEC.
Next year is likely a somewhat rebuild with a lot of players going into the draft. So wasn't this a make or break type of year for Kirby?
To be serious here for just a moment, the only potential talent issue for next year is QB. We've recruited so well everywhere else that there will be plenty available to be a nationally competitive team. That obviously doesn't guarantee anything, but when you recruit in the top 3 every year, replacing losses isn't as daunting.
Also, unless Fromm turns it around bigly, he will still be around.

Well in Mullen's first year he took over a worse team than Kirby inherited, yet finished tied with Georgia in the AP in Kirby's third year...that's pretty decent evidence.
Or Florida is ahead of Georgia in the polls, despite playing a tougher SEC schedule so far and having more injury issues to key players.
Seems the evidence is starting to show

there is no "this is the year". You recruit as well as you can and win enough games and hope that eventually it all comes together one year. NOboyd is pointing to a year and saying "we're winning it all that year or it's a failure"

you truly think year 4 of hte man's head coaching career could be make or break?

I'd assume you will lose quite a few defenders and a lot of that Oline. Correct?
And if you do lose Fromm. You end up losing a lot of the strengths of the team don't you? I mean yes you have talent, but I'm sure it will take time to gel. Even Meyer had down years at UF replacing a lot of talent. Bama never has a down year...but Bama is unique in the SEC and it's why Saban is the best of all time

Mad props for your honesty OP..

Yes. Your fan base is booing an insane amount. With how up and down in extremes Georgia fans have become, who knows.
Tell me. If Georgia derails this season. You dont think his seat gets warm and changes are forced to his staff? Think the big money boosters arent pushing Coley out if you finish 9-3 in a year you were supposed to contend? Especially if Mullen wins the East with Florida?

Every team loses big contributors every year. UGA is far more ready than most to replace those athletes, especially defensively. That's one area that will always be good at UGA under Smart. The front seven will be particularly nasty next year.
OL will definitely have at least a few losses, but we've recruited as well as is reasonably possible there. Same with RB.

insane amount lol. There was a smattering in 1 of our 7 games entirely directed at the OC/playcalling.

dude, no. Kirby's seat is not anywhere in the vicinity of warm. It's antarctic.

changes are forced to his staff?
changes should be made to the staff regardless of what happens thsi season. Sooner rather than later. Taht doesn't signify his seat is warm, it would signify he realizes our shortcomings and is ocrrecting them.

He's never shown a particular aversion to making changes to his staff. Philosophy, maybe, but he hasn't been a HC long enough to fairly judge that. It's not like he's deep into his tenure.

Do UGA fans think that Kirby will find the right OC?
Coley does not seem to be working out but he could turn it around with a win over UF.

Georgia can't beat Florida. Florida is too good.
Florida has it all together.
Georgia is just a shell of a piece of shite.
If Florida can't win this, they should just shut down the whole football program.
Georgia's QB sucks.
OL sucks.
Running backs suck.
Kicker sucks.
Punter sucks.
Playcalling sucks.
Clock management sucks.
Defense is ok, I guess.
This is Florida's chance.
There's no excuse for Florida to not beat this shitty unorganized Georgia team.
I hope you put yourself on the "bad list" after this thread. Negadawg.

Not sure how we could reasonably answer this question.

I watched both the UK and USCe game twice.
Both had a high level of boos. So much your players are calling fans out. So yes...it's obvious and noticeable and has been in multiple games.
So what if Smart stands by his coaches this off season?
Florida is growing. Mullen took over a 4 win team and has been growing it back to a national brand. He proved he can be consistent at a terrible program in the hardest division in football(as much as possible at Miss State). So he certainly should be able to at UF.
Don't think that adds to the pressure on him? If by year 2 Mullen passes him? I mean you can't say Mullen has more talent, so we all know if UF does beat Georgia and wins the East it's because Mullen outcoached Smart this season.
Don't think word starts spreading that maybe he is just a great recruiter and defensive mind, but has limitations that restrict the progression of the program? Similar to Muschamp at UF, though Smart is better than Champ obviously.

No, that single season's result would not result in mass panic among decision makers unless that single season was much worse than the one currently unfolding.
Georgia is 6-1 right now despite its struggles. It's worth remembering that.

I am not sure who we are arguing with here, the negaDawgs who think Kirby & Co suck, or the posiDawgs, who think Kirby is the GOAT. Maybe you guys should make up a good list and bad list to keep it straight?
