This is strange to me and doesn't make sense. Why would we use a scholarship on a punter we would have for 1 year vs offering a scholarship to Evan McGuire and having him for 4 years.
Because apparently EM is a much better place kicker than punter. I've seen many people say EM is not an SEC level punter.

It does Still counts to the yearly 25 new enrollee limit. I double verified that with Mark Murphy the other night.

Interesting.. I knew he was a better K and P, but I always thought we liked him for either. Any idea if he would still walk on? I know he got scholarship offer from GA State and thats big to him.

Unlikely because he has a brother in college the parents are paying for to go to school.

How long did it take UGA to hire Luke once Pittman left?

Two days I think. That was less than a week to go before ESD. Same reason why we replaced Dilly in about 2 days

We’re in the middle of a dead period right now.

Good for him, but we lose a bit of the connection we had with McKinstry while Nix was at Pinson.

Nix coached him for several years. Pearl offered for basketball. I think we’ve done all we can there

I don't think him being there would have made a major difference.. but being surrounded by Nix and son who are Auburn fans/always going to games certainly wouldn't have hurt. Its not a big deal though.

That actually seems like it could be good for us. We have a very difficult time pulling kids from there.

Having Nix there could really help us gain a foothold in that school.

Not saying it will help, but it certainly cannot hurt.

Jay Hardy tells Jeff Lee that he’s no longer visiting Tennessee. He’s shutting his recruitment down. Not visiting anywhere but Auburn. Boom!!

Mark Murphy CBd him to Auburn before the IB. I think we might have a chance if the staff stays intact.

Is Hardy as good as I hope he is? That is to say, can he be a dominant game changer?
