WVU and probably not a too much of a close second.

And somehow, a lot of the fans that make their away games (i.e. the fans at your home stadium) are even worse representatives than the ones at their home games.

Ohio State fans have to be second. Absolute trash.

Texas Tech probably used to be first, or second, but they've been so bad at football recently that they've actually garnered some humility out of it. Not a lot, but some.

Also, USCalifornia - bunch of arrogant pricks

Oh, and for good measure, I think the saltiest fans I've ever met in my life have to be by far any fans of Rice baseball. It's literally all they have, and they don't take losing too well

Ohio State and it’s not close. We played them in Columbus when I was in college. Went with my family. We beat them in a close game and this nice woman in front of us turned around and said “You guys need to get out of here as quickly as possible.” We shrugged it off but shouldn’t have. Full beers (bottles!) thrown at us on the way out, my mother being called every single thing you could think of, daring me to throw a punch so 20 dudes could jump me, it was absolutely the craziest scene I have ever witnessed. Their school president had to write a letter of apology.

Trash people.
