It's hard to say, because it's so early in the season.

Yea I agree. But I know Oregon’s OL and QB are two of the best units around

They are very different teams. So far this year I would say Texas has looked better but who knows who will be better by the end of the year. They are very close either way, and the Texas game was a road game, so I would say the Texas game is a better win.

Yea, the road game aspect definitely gives some points that way

Auburn beating Oregon put an early bullet to the head of the PAC for the CFP
LSU beating texas will keep the loveliest going for texas to get in the CFP
If Oklahoma beats texas now they are pretty much zombie for the CFP

Pretty sure Texas would beat Oregon, but this early it's all bullshite anyway.

This.
Let's see how Oregon and Texas look come November.
If Ducks keep 'cruitin like they have been, we'll see them playing in the CFP soon enough.

IMO, Texas is the better win because:
A) They were as high as #5 Preseason in some publications
B) They truly are a Top 12 Team. Oregon fell to 16 after that loss to Auburn

Cristobal isn't sniffing the CFP, they were pretty underwhelming last season considering they had a top QB in the country and play in the PAC 12

1) Location matters. Auburn beat Oregon at a neutral site. LSU beat Texas in a true road game. Big difference.
2) The way the game was won matters. LSU was the frontrunner and put up a 2 TD margin before Texas' final window-dressing TD. Auburn trailed the entire way and needed a 4Q comeback to win.
3) The eye-test matters. Auburn looks like hot garbage. Again. Hell even my Auburn buddies were texting me about it during the game. They looked like hot garbage against Tulane, too, for that matter.
Conclusion: LSU's win over Texas was easily better.

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself and your team. The game between LSU and auburn isn’t far off, we will know soon enough who is better.

Ok but if Oregon is better than Texas all that matters less

Oregon and Texas offenses are even. Oregon has a better defense.
I do believe Oregon would beat Texas.

Wrong, because I actually watched the game and wasn't impressed with Auburn even a little bit.
Also a moot point, because Auburn is going to get lit up by LSU, Alabama, and Texas A&M and finish no better than 4th in the West.
