I thought Beal was already the projected starter even if Cupp was healthy.

From a poster on 247 that usually has good info:

Baylor is done for the season. He broke his leg in 4 spots along with tearing a ligament in his ankle. He is being prepped for surgery as I type this.

Kim Jong Pubes doing work censoring real info.

Heard about it late yesterday. Went over to Texags and saw nothing. So I thought it was BS. fricking gestapo over there. Why hide the news?

Because they don't release injury info until the head coach does. I like that policy.

So we're back to the Sumlin days when everyone knows about an injury but it's not released until Gameday?
If the information IS ALREADY OUT THERE it makes you look like Baghdad Bob.

Because the coaches haven't made it public yet, and they'd like to keep having the same level of access to the program. Makes total sense.

Fisher confirmed it at the press conference after practice today.

I have a Baghdad Bob coffee cup, as he was one of my favorite characters. I'm not getting a Baghdad Bob vibe here. If any of the staff had come out and said "Baylor Cupp is FINE and will CRUSH the infidels from Texas State" then you might have a point.

Omg why do you care? Does it effect you? Give it a rest already.

Broken tibia isn't necessarily season-ending.
Didn't we have a player a couple of years ago who was out 8 weeks with the same injury?

Don't get my hopes up that he could be back by UGA and LSU.

Poster on 247 that posted news of the surgery, said possibly 6-7 weeks.

I care because I'm a fan. It is possible to effect a lot of people that have bet on our games if his replacement isnt worth a frick.
Give it a rest already. Normally I wouldn't side with the count but he is making valid points on this.

It would put on other outlets. Even if you want TA to be your only source of info you find out today versus yesterday. That isn’t going to effect any of your silly bets.
Posted on 8/13/19 at 10:07 pm to Farmer1906
At what point does TA stop being considered media and start being considered an extension of the athletic program that provides impermissible benefits to recruits?
If they have confirmed sources then why hide it?

Like 10-15 years ago. Where have you been?

6-7 weeks from now = Early October
