So, reading sabans comments on Billingsley and covid, is it possible that Billingsley isnt vaccinated and that's what Saban was referring to? If so, i dont like it. I dont make a habit of questioning saban, but there is a big divide in our country over that vaccine. Most everyone over 60 things everyone should have it bc they are scared they're gonna die. But a lot of young people dont see it that way. I just hope it doesn't become a problem this season.

I do like the look of him at KR. It would be a way to get him on the field.

How about Kool-aid? Is he set to be a KR/PR?

The University posted a portion of guest speaker Ernie Johnson‘s talk with the team yesterday - worth the 5 mins if you have the time and the interest.

Love you too

Just a personal opinion, but I believe that koolaide belongs to Saban. I believe that’s Saban’s project

I don't think Saban would suspend one person because they were not vaccinated. However, if he is not following the safety protocols and putting others at risk, then it would be a different story.

Yeah that’s my thought too. Like going to a party that he wasn’t supposed to or something like that.

I think that's reading WAY too much into it. Saban said “We had some COVID protocols that we had to go through with him, and he’s back out at practice,” IMHO, the most likely explanation would be that he got a close exposure to a known positive and they held him out through the incubation window. Our med guys and team navigated this last year better than virtually everyone in college football. I'd imagine they're still (particularly with the Pfizer vax not doing well against Delta) being careful with players they know got a big exposure even if they're vaxxed. Better to have one guy miss a few practices in the early fall than lose several later in camp.

BRob reminds me a little of Damien Harris as a sophomore: good, hard runner, but he isn't going to break a 75 yarder. He'll get caught from behind after about 25 yards. Nothing wrong with that. But the rest of the RB room probably has that home run threat. I haven't seen the new guys run so I can't say, but Jace has it. And I think Roy has it too, maybe not quite the burner Jace is. It's going to be hard to get everybody enough touches.

Fr. Blackshire looks like Upshaw in his last year.

You sure about that? BRob and DHarris are nothing alike. BRob reminds me more of Josh Jacobs. He'll truck somebody. I don't think we've really seen his top speed. He looks pretty fast to me

I'm the best evaluator on this board. I'll admit I haven't seen enough of all the backs to make an accurate assessment.
BRob is really underrated on this board. Not sure why. He's a beast.
Keilan Robinson was great, but he's at Texas now.
McClellan looks good, but the jury is still out.
We'll see about Trey Sanders.

I think it's a possibility that Camar Wheaton is the best back on this team. He's a monster. Young gun. 5 star. Let him eat.

I really don't think we'd be in bad shape if Robinson & Wheaton were the 1-2 punch this year, and the other guys sat the bench. Maybe slowly rotate Trey Sanders in until he gets 100%

Maybe not a 75 yarder but Harris had plenty of long runs his sophomore year. Harris would usually bust a 30+ yard run but get run down just one broken tackle short of a longer TD. He had a 72 yard run downed inside the 5. Meanwhile Robinson is all power and doesn’t seem capable getting that far as consistently in the first place. So I don’t see your comparison at all.

Robinson has more in comparison with Najee Harris. Neither were likely to break a 50+ yard run. Damien did so a few times his sophomore year despite having limited touches.

That delusional claim and your delusional posting history demonstrate that your much closer to being the worst. You're even lousy at evaluating yourself. But you do excel at craving attention. Carry on.

40 yard dash doesn’t always translate to being faster on the field. Henry runs a 4.54 yet clocked in as one of the fastest runners in each of the last 3 seasons in the NFL on some of his longest runs.
