never ready against inferior opponent

You mean the team that went somewhere around 15 years without losing to an unranked opponent?

Yeah, that screams not being prepared for inferior teams.

they were prepared by the coaches etc but the D was horrible. It all came together in the last couple of minutes though

That view really highlights what a great throw that was.

I was referring to AU specifically as inferior from a talent perspective and overall team perpective. Bama is not prepared and tend to play tight and not as hard and with as much focus and intensity as AU in this game.

This a recurring theme. For instance in both 2015 and 2021 with a backup QB and ZERO chance to win AU took two top 5 level Bama teams deep into the 4th Quarter. I have seen Saban destroy teams in other stadiums but Jordan Hare is either in his head or he does not put much emphasis on the game.

Have the players of the game been mentioned yet.

All OL, Bond, Arnold, and QB1 are mine. Possible Burnip who had the first punt but it looked like he got tackled while punting too

Yeah he was definitely out, but the play shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

#72s knee went down 2 yards deep in the endzone after recovering that fumble. Should’ve been a safety.

One of the worst officiating crews I’ve ever seen.

You’re not kidding. They missed it all.

Take out the obvious things and they still missed a minimum of 10 penalties.

It was literally perfect. He hit a box maybe 4’x3’ in the air where only Bond could get it.

Listening to the Auburn press box, they seem to think and i agree, the DB never knew the ball was in the air and never saw it.

Of course he didn't see it, he was too busy holding 17's arm with both of his hands...lol

There was some poetic justice in that guy being the one to give it up. He got away with so many DPIs.

Saban is 12-5 vs Auburn as Alabama’s HC

He still gets credit for 2020 even though he had Covid.

It also highlights just how eerily quiet Gary Danielson was after the td…

Alabama's botched snap in the Iron Bowl could have been a flag on Auburn. Take a look at Auburn safety Zion Puckett, who appears to clap at the Crimson Tide's offensive line before the play.

I will never understand people who think he's an Alabama homer. Gary respects the program, but he loves nothing more than watching us lose and does a poor job of hiding it.

Jaeden Roberts is an enormous individual.

The progression of this OL after he took over for Dalcourt is stunning.
