Don't know if it's from a reputable source but someone just posted on BOL that Dan Mullen is expected to be named our OC

Edit: offensive consultant

Yea I jumped the gun when I seen offensive consultant and thought it said offensive coordinator. I'm not sure how I would feel about him being OC though, offensive consultant is a different story. Never hurts to have too many minds brain storming a gameplan

Not going to lie, I will probably melt if Mullen has any significant role on the team

Chef on BOL all but confirmed that Mullen was hired in some compacity to either self scout or help gameplan sometime in the last few weeks

Saban has brought in people before to scout /advise before big games but I hope that is it . Love all things Bama but literally cannot stand him

Here’s hoping he does a hell of a job

Mullen has a cringe-worthy personality, imo.

No denying that Mullen has a good offensive mind. I’m all for him helping with a game plan if it’s true

Oh cool. He can tell us his gameplan for UGA and then we can do the exact opposite and make sure to never ever hire him as OC.

Mullen with Trask was pretty effective. Hopefully he can find a wrinkle that fits our personnel

Good.

Playing the freshman won us the 2017 game against Georgia.

Tua, Najee, Leatherwood and Wills all received significant snaps in that title game.

Give Latham a shot so he doesn't transfer.

Alabama trying 'as many options as possible' on O-line for SECCG (BOL)

Can’t hurt . Rather watch a freshman make same mistakes as an upperclassman
