Oh, ok...1972...OU's OFFICIAL record that year is 8-4. LOL, guess they're including that in their 39th.

Sounds typical of OU people (not as bad as Texas, but still typical).

Considering Alabama runs the world now national championship wise, that stat doesn’t mean much here as it doesn’t result in winning anything lately.
