So if our running back who isn’t known for his blocking makes a block on the best defender on the team (maybe in the SEC) we might have gotten the first?

Or, we could have given the ball to someone who would at least have fallen forward when getting tackled from the side?

Replace Chubb with anyone else. When a play misses an assignment, the chance of failure is great. I don't care if Chubb is running the ball. The ball carrier needs his team to do their job.
