shite, Kirby lost to Vanderbilt and gave up 510 yards to Ole Miss his first year while he had a decidedly better roster than what we had. Ole Miss didn't even bowl, baw.
Oh, was that the same offense that put 522 yards on Alabama, in Pruitt's first year there as DC?
Funny how you list the yards in the Ole Miss loss but not the one to Vandy (171, their 2nd lowest in the last 4 years).

Grantham didn't give up 500 yards to any team this season. Food for thought.
That's so impressive. I remember when our fanbase liked him, too.

So you think you'll probably have one in 5 years? I just want to know, you guys are saying he's so much better than Richt but they started out quite the same. Obviously the next step up is a championship.
I'm glad you don't think it's likely, though. Maybe you're more levelheaded than I thought
Have you learned your lesson about how dumb the “same results” claim was? I doubt it based on your “so much better” claim. Smart is so much better than the richt we fired, not the richt we fired. There is a very clear difference between the 2.
And how about your imaginary claims?

never classified Mullen as a great OC. Good QB coach
Any man that can make Feleipe Franks not terrible deserves a trophy. Furthermore:
He improved scoring from 109th to 22nd.
He improved passing touchdowns from 10 to 28.
From 243 to 455 points.
And he did it with a McElwain roster that was relatively unchanged. He is verifiably a great OC.

Vanderbilt still beat you lol. What do the yards matter?
Ole Miss having 510 yards is relevant to the present conversation, just like it's relevant to point out that Kirby had worse results with a better team that he inherited.
We're happy with Mullen, accept it. We're happy with Grantham, accept it.

The downtrodden team without its starting rb and best OL. Not as impressive as you think it is.

So you really do not care about sec play.
It’s all about propping up stats in ooc play for you

I'm happy and I'll accept that you're content with a couple of losers.

If I were a reporter I’d agree with you but I’m not and this is why message boards exist: to pass on info as it circulated around the Internet. It’s also why actual reporters and media types shouldn’t read message boards and use it as a source but should instead reach out to actual verifiable people in and around programs to determine if a rumor has legs.
I get your point. I guess I look at it as if it were me. I wouldn't want a lot of people speculating about me in a negative fashion with no proof. Word gets passed around a lot and after awhile it becomes "fact" and a kids reputation is hurt....when he might not have done anything wrong at all.
Now, if the kid is guilty, it is a whole different story. I just prefer to wait until it is a known fact, rather than passing rumors around.
Hey...you have to go with what you feel is right and fair. I wasn't trying to lecture you.

We had 209 points in the SEC vs. the entire schedule in 2017 (243).
We had more SEC passing touchdowns than the entire schedule combined in 2017. (13 - 10)
Spin, spin, spin, fricking aspie.

He is verifiably a great OC.
Verifiably great against Charleston Southern (53 points), Colorado State (48 points), Idaho (63 points), and Tennessee (47 points against the worst team on the East).
Those games against the 4 worst teams on your schedule put up 211 points. I won't stop you from hanging your hat on that.
Poor games from Frank's against Missouri (17 points), Georgia (17 points), and Kentucky (16 points) point a better picture at what Franks is under Mullen.
After Boom and McElwain, I understand being excited about Mullen. I do. Huge improvement. But don't confuse improvement with great. Because it just isnt there.

Finished ahead in a poll and tied with Georgia in another.
Talk about losers.
Top three talent composite, same ultimate results.

Actually this is what it's all about. Do this every year and the championship will come.

I love Mullen's recruiting for Florida. I'm happy that you are happy.
And I hope you keep Grantham forever. I do. He will probably try to hit you up for a payraise because of those top 20 defenses. There is a reason why he leaves starters in (besides coming from an NFL mentality where they don't sub late in games). Holding Charleston southern to 6 points helps him get paid and keeps Stat happy fans like you on his side.

That’s only a 5 ppg difference.
Franks passer rating was only a 5 Point difference.
Congrats on those small gains.

Watching you guys melt over Grantham is hilarious.

Your fanbase is happier about finishing higher in one of the polls than winning the division, having a better record, or winning the head-to-head matchup.
As I said, loser.
