Sexton is a lot more proven than Garland, Sexton made the NBA all rookie team as a PG.
Garland looked good in most of his 5 college games vs Kent State, Alcorn State, Liberty, Savannah State, and Winthrop but I wouldn't quite count on him supplanting Sexton as PG. They will probably handle the ball a pretty similar amount, if Garland lives up to his hype.

You are completely missing my point.
I am telling you that Sexton is not and never had been a gifted ball distributor/passer. He is not the guy you want facilitating the offense
Don't burden Sexton w the responsibility and let him focus on scoring and setting himself up by playing off ball
This isn't a knock. Sexton is an elite scorer, I'm saying let him play a role that lets him focus on what he does beat
