Trendon was always a backup backup plan for them, similar to Petty and Kentucky.

I wish Watford was still making his decision tomorrow. It would be nice to have some resolution one way or the other. I hope we get to see him in an Alabama jersey next year, but if not, oh well. I'd rather know now & move on, rather than drag it out and still not end up with him.

Yeah, if anything, it may speed up the info being passed on to the NCAA.
I still think the only way Wade avoids serious NCAA violations is the FBI / Attorney General somehow keeping verified transcripts from the NCAA.
Hard to see how or why they would do that with all the publicity surrounding this scandal though it may take a long time.

Definitely would love to have him. It would also be another guy we'd have to find room for though. It seems like we're looking at three or four guys and we only have 1 spot left. And I believe we'll take Rojas if we don't land Watford. But you can't pass up on a guy like Cole if you can get him, so what do you do?

Well i guess maybe if Watford goes somewhere else, we don’t take Rojas, and maybe we get one more guy to transfer like JDF. That would open a couple spots if we needed them

We got 1 spot left(assuming Mack Comes back which we all think he will) and that is for Watford/Rojas(Probably Rojas)
That means Galin or Javian have to leave. Because neither of them will play because Hawkins/Rojas/Reese will get all the minutes at 5.

Agree with that too. I wouldn't mind keeping those guys and giving them a year with Oats. But if we can get RJ Cole, then I'm sorry for one of those guys, but somebody's gotta go.

Honestly if we get Cole/Rojas then I dont care about Watford. Best of Luck at LSU/Memphis.
There is also the possibility that Gary doesnt qualify and has to go JUCO. So that could be a spot.

I have seen this get floated around on here before. What is the likelihood that this happens? Not necessarily directed at you Mistaken, but does anybody have any credible info on this?

Would rather have RJ as well (I mean his stats are rather absurd, even at the mid major level), but it’s hard to say that a borderline 5-star didn’t live up to the hype after one year of limited minutes playing behind Villanova’s 19 PPG stud.
