Yeah. Pretty much every SEC team hires either a mid major or a retread.

He's a young guy that will bring good energy at least, and his teams have been near the top in tempo. At the very least, I think he'll provide more on court excitement than just a ball screen every play.

Yep - and he has a coherent strategy and philosophy.

We'll see how it works out.

I think this is one of the biggest things Bama had to do. You guys have had your eyes bled out the past decade from slow/poor offense basketball in the Grant/Johnson era. The most points/gm in any of those seasons was 72 the last 2 seasons, and that might be contributed to the shot clock change from 35 to 30 fairly recently

I can tell you if I ever had to go back to Trent Johnson era bball I might give up watching my team it sucked so much. Nothing like throwing up in the low to mid 60s each game and praying your defense gets you through to the win.
