Jackson gave up a homer in the 9th... is this the end of the winning streak? Riley and Albies are coming up in the bottom of the 9th so we'll see.

I think we should refer to the Phillies going forward as you so eloquently did by calling that overpaid team from up north or something like that.

coming in with some hot takes. let's ignore the fact that the bullpen has almost been completely turned over AND is performing better than it was earlier in the year.
Braves bullpen ranks 12th in MLB bullpen ERA.

Yeah Newk has helped it a lot. I’m not sure I like him starting Saturday. He’s been doing very well and I don’t want him becoming a head case again. I’d still like us to sign a solid starter and put Gausman and Newk in the pen.

between Newk, Touki, Swarzak (I think he's been hit hard and getting lucky, but at least he isn't walking a ton of folks - 4 nonIBBs in 10+ innings. not great but we've seen worse), and a revitalized Minter, the bullpen appears to be solidifying. needs one more piece I think, but certainly isn't "horrible" anymore or needing major "fixing".

Agree. That’s why I lean more towards us signing another solid rotation guy and sending Gaus to the pen. Also, I’m still not sold on Folty being 100% and able to make it to September/October.
