Coming off of 10-3, are expectations super high or are they tempered?
What reaction would these field?
Sub 500:
6-6:
7-5:
8-4
TIA

Just keeping going to Bowl games.
I am happy the direction Stoops has us going.

Relatively easy schedule, I have us at 8-4 but it all depends how the secondary transitions. Our front 7 on defense should be pretty good again.

I would do cartwheels if we go 8-4.

It’s realistic, I’m pumped for the Smoke/Rose/Rodriquez RB battle that’s coming.
7-5 is also reasonable.

I believe we’re the only team in America not to regress any season over the last six. Clearly we’re going to the playoffs. Maybe the Super Bowl.

With the favorable schedule and what not, 7-5 is a reasonable expectation.
The reality is if you’re not Alabama tier at this point, you’re going to have down seasons in between really good seasons. I’m not so fickle that I don’t remember 2 win (total) seasons. Patience is what got us to this point, by Barnhart backing Stoops and Co.

We'll take a step back but our schedule sets us up for a soft landing. Next year is a bridge year. We only have like 9 scholly seniors.
6-8 wins I say.

It'll be mainly our corners, I think. Unless Griffin goes to a field instead of staying in nickel and sharing time with the other 2 safeties.

I think this is realistic, or 9-3 again. Biggest ? is going to be our secondary, but our offense should be just as good if not better, and we have some depth on defense.
Schedule isn't horrible.

I think 8-4 is certainly achievable. Could be 7-5 or 9-3 though depending on how we handle the loss of a lot of great players. Anything below 7-5 is underachieving.
So long as we make a bowl game, remain competitive, and aren't a laughing stock in football I'll be content.

Should Win:
Toledo
Eastern Michigan
UT Martin
Louisville
Arkansas
Vanderbilt
They haven't beaten us in how many years?:
South Carolina
Missouri
We've got a chance since it's at home:
Florida
Tennessee
Doubtful:
Mississippi St.
Nope:
Georgia

8-4 should be attainable regular season.
We were picked to be at the bottom by nearly every "in the know" motherfricker alive last season as well.
I think changing the culture and proving to the players that what you preach can come to fruition through hard work and a commitment to self improvement is strong and tangible now. That goes a long way, and we have a lot of players that will have game experience albeit not "starters" returning. There is some real talent that he's recruited waiting to show out, and our staff arguably "coaches up" players to max potential as good as any staff in the SEC.
