Not a fan personally. I think one of the other options would be better.

Yep, limited some of his travel and recruiting in his last year. People said he was coaching practice at mid court sitting in a chair. The thought is that it has improved greatly or he wouldn't be looking for a job but not sure if you really ever get over those problems.

If this is true, I dont see HY doing it. That seems like what we had with mike. We need someone young who will fire up these kids. If we can beat top teams with the talent and issues this season, we could light it up with some motivation!

Didn’t Nutt play basketball in college?

What’s he up to lately. That would certainly create a “splash”.

We don't need to know about his back injury.

#KHOU11 As we arrive in Kansas City the rumors about #UH coach Kelvin Sampson going to #Arkansas after this season are hot & heavy. Multiple sources have told me that they believe Kelvin intends to leave after the season. A.D. Chris Pezman has no comment on the matter.

Haven't certain posters told us too watch for the media reports outside of the state, like Tulsa, Dallas and Houston? Hopefully this is one of those cases.

This guy is traveling with the team so I’d say he’s plugged in. I also choose to trust him because I really want Sampson

The craziest thing to me out of all of this is in regards to how Houston people/fans think Houston is some top tier awesome city.

Do they really not realize that Houston is a shithole and the public perception nationally of Houston is very negative?

I swear reading their comments you would think Houston is located in SoCal or Hawaii.

I dated a girl from Houston. They really do think Houston is the shite. It's not just sports.

Based on what I have heard today, no decision will be made by Kelvin Sampson in considering Arkansas until after they are eliminated or win it all. However, he has been following this situation at Arkansas for several weeks. Also, the sentiment right now from close to him says 60-40 against him going to Arkansas.

As I reported Tuesday, there was a third party feeler out there already between Arkansas and Kelvin Sampson...which is how things are done. There’s never direct contact at this stage.
