This weekend four-star DL and Tide commit Jah-Marien Latham returned to UA yet again, this time for his official visit. “Great, man,” he said of the trip. “Got to meet with some soon-to-be teammates. Had a great talk with Coach Saban, almost all the coaches on the coaching staff. It was a good weekend.”

“Every time I’m here, it’s like I’m already part of the team... part of the family... at home. My host was Christian Barmore. He was telling me when I come in I gotta be a dog to see the field as a freshman. I’m gonna put in the work and everything I got to so I can. This weekend was originally reserved for an official visit to Ole Miss, but with Matt Luke getting let go from the Rebels last week, Latham switched his trip to Bama. Latham hasn’t heard from new Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin yet. “I’m probably done with my official visits,” he said. Latham plans to sign on Dec. 18 and enroll at the Capstone next summer.
