As long as Saban is there it doesn’t matter.

Has Butch Jones officially joined Maryland’s staff?
I’m going to come unglued if all this shakes out in Lyle becoming Bama’s OC

People try to steal Dabo's OC's and Venables every damn year.
They actually enjoy working for Dabo.

Hey Bama, for the right price, I bet you can steal Ensminger. You should give it a shot.

Saban isn't Gandalf. He doesn't know magic. It's about good recruiting, good coaching hires, and accountability. And he's done an amazing job.
however, no org can withstand the kind of brain drain Bama has seen in the past few years. You have to have some continuity, and if you don't it catches up. I think the end of this season proved it.

This is true. I am shocked Venables has stayed as long as he has. There is no telling how many HC jobs he has turned down.

Saban is good but seems unbearable to work with that midget.

I equate coaching under Saban to a medical student residency program.
It's fricking miserable for a few years, but if you get through it, you're set for life.

We’re seeing some of that happening in Athens. As for Clemson, Dabo must have committed a pack murder with his assistants because they don’t even entertain other schools. It’s like a Jim Jones cult in Clemson

Great hire by Miami. I think Dan Enos will eventually be a very successful head coach. It was very smart of him to take a "demotion" to leave Central Michigan or wherever it was as the head coach to become the offensive coordinator here at Arkansas. It's allowed him to see first hand how NOT to run a program under Bielema, which led to him being able to watch how to do it from the GOAT.
He will field a very potent offense there in Miami and eventually get another head coaching gig at a much better place than Central Michigan. Looking forward to following dude's career.
He turned Brandon Allen from zero to hero in a single season while he was here. Just a very impressive job he did while he was here.
Meanwhile, it's pretty obvious that the writing is on the wall at Alabama.
Sabans gone.

probably a good guy to work for and raise a family. and you are in the acc and don't have to deal with sec pressures.

I thought he was hired as Bama's OC? If not, why didn't Saban pull the trigger.

Adversity in TitleTown. No program has more turnover than The King and No program has more Trophies as well.
